Mushroom foraging trip with The Expat Network in Østfold

Learn about foraging mushrooms. OBS! KUN FOR HALDEN NÆRINGSUTVIKLING

The Expat Network in Østfold invites you on a mushroom foraging trip with Halden Sopp- og Nyttevekstforening. This year the trip will go to Venås, a local popular sports cabin with lots of forest trails nearby. We will start with a little information before we go foraging, and we finish the trip at the barbecue and lavvo area outside Venåshytta. Here we will ensure that you only get edible mushrooms with you, and provide information about how to cook and store mushrooms.

Information will be provided in english and norwegian.

We recomend bringing:

• A basket or something carrying mushrooms in (don’t use plastic bags)
• A small knife for cutting mushrooms
• A Brush for cleaning mushrooms
• Something to drink
• Something to eat
